Here I am, sitting in Michigan on a nice, sunny day (40s, the calm before the next winter storm) and bored out of my mind. It's the first day since I've been back home that I don't have anything scheduled but to work (Sunday was the parents' with my brothers and sisters; Monday was St. Patrick's day with Ethie and Dennis--and, briefly, Log; Tuesday was dinner with Jamie and Steve and family; Wednesday was a visit with Uncle Jim). I think I took too many days off because polishing up my comprehensive exam questions is taking too much time and the thought of grading is dreadful. But I have one incentive to work: everyone else I know is at work, including my husband, who probably won't be home for another ten or eleven hours since he plays floor hockey tonight. If only it was gardening season. :)
